“Wonderful Vacation in the Mountains”
We stayed at the Blue Ridge Village Resort from July 12-19,2009. The resort really had everything we needed to make a great vacation. Especially the location, we were close to several of the local adventures in the area. We went to the Grandfather Mountain and walked across the mile-high swinging bridge(the views were spectacular of the Blue Ridge Mts.) the super cute bears really were fun to watch. We made a trip to the Biltmore mansion in Asheville. I tried my luck at gem mining which was a great experience I came home with sapphire, emerald, tourmaline and amethyst and other gems. I enjoyed shopping the Tanger Outlet in Blowing Rock. The resort had some great activities for all ages. I would go back to this area not enough time to do everything in the mountains.
